Creamy Chocolate Icing Recipes

Ingredients :

2 tbsp butter

1 oz unsweetened chocolate, cut up (1 square)

1 1/2 tbsp flour

1/8 tsp salt

1/3 cup milk

2 cups sifted icing sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup miniature marshmallows

Method :

Melt butter and chocolate in a small saucepan over lowest heat. Remove from heat and blend in flour and salt. Stir in milk gradually. Return to low heat and cook until very thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla. Set in ice water and continue stirring until of spreading consistency. Stir in nuts and marshmallows and use to ice cake as directed.
