Coconut Burfee Recipes

Ingredients :

600 g

60 g

80 ml

1 drop

a few strands

5 g

a few

coconut powder



sweet Ittar

Saffron (kesar)

green cardamom (choti elaichi) powder

pistachios, slivered

Method :
  1. Heat sugar and water in a pan, stir continuously till sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in coconut powder, sweet Ittar, saffron and cardamom powder.
  4. Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from fire and spread evenly on a greased baking tray.
  6. Cool and cut into 8 pieces.
  7. Garnish with slivered pistachios.

Serves : 4

Preparation time : 10 minutes

Dessert time : 10 minutes
