Method :
- Preheat the oven to 190C Gas Mark
5, grease a baking sheet.
- Beat the butter and sugar until
very soft and creamy, then gradually beat in the flour, adding a
little milk if the mixture becomes too stiff.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- Place spoonfuls of the mixture
onto the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes.
- To make the filling, cream the
butter in a bowl, then sift and beat in the icing sugar, adding just
enough milk to make it soft enough to spread.
- Leave the biscuits to cool, then
sandwich together with a filling.
