Method :
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking
powder and sugar.
- Melt the butter or margarine.
- Cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted
butter or margarine and egg and mix well.
- Add the buttermilk to the egg mixture.
- Add the liquid mixture to the dry
ingredients.
- Stir lightly until combined.
- Stir in seeds, sultanas and nuts, if
using.
- Spoon the mixture into greased muffin
tins and bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
Makes : 16 - 18 muffins
