Method :

Sift together into a bowl, 1 cup
sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg.

Stir 1/3 cup brown sugar and 2 tbsp
finely chopped walnuts into flour mixture.

Combine 1 beaten egg, 1/3 cup milk, 2
tbsp salad oil.

Add all at once to dry ingredients,
stirring just to blend.

Fold in 1/3 cup whole wheat flakes.

Fill 6-muffin greased pan 2/3 full.

Bake in hot oven (400°) for 15-20
minutes.
