Line a 23cm (9") deep pie dish
with pastry and layer in the ingredients in this fashion: diced
bacon, finely chopped apples, onions and sprinkle of seasonings.
Pour over the water.
Cover and seal with pastry, make a
steam hole and glaze with beaten egg.
Sprinkle with seed and bake.
Served with mince or cold sausage
slices this makes a nourishing lunch.
