untoasted muesli
rolled oats
desiccated coconut
brown sugar
chopped dried apricots
sultanas
butter
honey or golden syrup
eggs, lightly beaten |
Method :
- Preheat oven to 180C and grease an
18 x 28cm shallow tin.
- Combine flour, muesli, oats,
coconut, sugar and fruit in a bowl.
- Melt butter and honey together in
a small pan.
- Pour over dry ingredients and mix
well.
- Stir in eggs, blend in well.
- Press mixture into prepared tin
and bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool in tin, cut when cold and
store in an airtight container.
Makes about 24
This fruity slice is filled with health
and fiber. A great slice for the school lunch box.
