Magic Biscuit Bars Recipes

Ingredients :

125g

1.5 cups

1 cup

1 x 100g

1.25 cups

1 x 400ml

butter, melted

plain biscuit crumbs

chopped pecans or walnuts

packet chocolate bits

desiccated coconut

can sweetened condensed milk

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 180C, line an 18 x 28cm shallow tin with greaseproof paper.
  2. Pour melted butter into prepared tin.
  3. Sprinkle biscuit crumbs evenly over butter and press lightly to form a crust.
  4. Over crumbs, sprinkle nuts, chocolate bits and coconut.
  5. Pour milk evenly over all.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned and set.
  7. Cool 15 minutes in tin on a wire rack.
  8. Cut into slices, remove paper and cool before serving.

Makes about 24

This recipe has the title of 'Magic' biscuit bars because of its no-bowl, no-mess method. The biscuit comes together in the baking.
